Data is the raw material of the 21st century. They are permanently generated in every machine, every system, and every process. With appropriate hardware and software, this valuable data can be lifted and converted into information by Machine Learning (ML). For example, predictive service and maintenance concepts, predictive quality, predictive efficiency, or ML-based anomaly detection are possible.
In the I4.0 environment, useful data must be generated, linked, and processed by means of special sensors. This is followed by information acquisition with corresponding ML algorithms. The information is then available both locally (e.g. via OPC UA) and with the help of a cloud for further use in different views.
We offer with the IGW/941 a compact edge gateway with ML workflow and various data science components for digitizing, forwarding, and evaluating sensor data.
